Terms of Use

Last updated 22 June 2026

These terms cover your use of the Ag Scoop website. The key point: Ag Scoop is a directory that links you to producers — we don't sell the products ourselves. When you buy, your contract is with the producer, not with us.

This is a plain-language template to get you started. Before you rely on it, have it reviewed by an Australian lawyer to make sure it fits your business and complies with the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Accepting these terms

By using agscoop.com.au, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site. If you use the site on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for that business.

2. Our role as a directory

Ag Scoop curates and presents deals from third-party Australian producers and links you to their websites. We are not the seller, manufacturer, or supplier of any product or experience listed. We don't take payment for products, hold stock, or fulfil orders. We earn a referral commission from producers when a sale is made through our links.

3. Deals, prices and availability

We work to keep listings accurate and current, but prices, availability, and offer details are set by the producer and can change without notice. The producer's own website is always the authoritative source. If you spot a listing that's wrong or expired, please tell us and we'll correct or remove it.

A listing on Ag Scoop is an invitation to view a producer's offer — it isn't itself an offer to sell, and it doesn't form a contract between you and us.

4. Buying from producers

When you click through and make a purchase, you enter into a contract directly with the producer. Their terms, privacy policy, pricing, delivery, returns, and warranties apply. Any issue with an order — payment, delivery, quality, refunds — is between you and the producer. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply against the producer as the supplier.

We're happy to help point you in the right direction if something goes wrong, but we can't resolve disputes about products we didn't sell.

5. Listing as a producer

If you apply to list with us, you confirm that you're a genuine Australian business, that you have the right to sell what you list, and that the information you give us is accurate. We review every application and may decline or remove any listing at our discretion. Listing is free; a referral commission applies to completed sales, at a rate we'll confirm with you in writing before you go live. Either of us can end the arrangement at any time.

6. Acceptable use

When using the site, you agree not to:

  • Use it for any unlawful purpose or to break any law;
  • Attempt to interfere with, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
  • Scrape, copy, or republish our content or listings without permission;
  • Submit false information, spam, or malicious content through our forms.

7. Intellectual property

The Ag Scoop name, logo, site design, and the editorial writing on our listings are our property or used under licence. Producer names, logos, and product images belong to the respective producers. You may not reuse our content commercially without our written permission.

8. Liability

We provide the site "as is" and take reasonable care to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Ag Scoop isn't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from any product or experience you buy from a producer. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives on this page with its "last updated" date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of the state in which Ag Scoop operates.
